Hey, cheers for the suggestion! Not really a car guru myself, too. I've given my S90 a run of 100,003 KM without a problem till now. Got the last service done without a hitch too, but I'll definitely look into a diagnostic test. I tell ya, it's always somethin'! Hope it's nothing too costly though. Thanks for the help!

Hey again! Your mileage is quite something, kudos for keeping your S90 running smoothly for so long. Ah, can't help but have a laugh at your comment - cars, they can be a real, lovely, pain in the backside indeed! Given your recent service and those kms on the board, it’s quite possible some manner of wear and tear might have disrupted the cable network causing these issues - just like in my case. A diagnostic test should help confirm that. Sure, nobody likes those unexpected costs, but believe me, getting it sorted will pay off in the long run. Last but not least, keep an eye on your battery, may seem out of the blue but low voltage can sometimes trigger weird malfunctions. Anyway, fingers crossed it won't be too heavy on your pockets. Do keep us posted on how it goes, yeah? Good luck!

Hey back at ya, - seriously, you've been a big help! Never considered the wear and tear on the old cable network or even the battery voltage, quite insightful stuff there! Well, I reckon I'll get that diagnostic test done sooner rather than later. Agreed, sorting it out now will be better for the ol' girl in the long run. I'll be sure to keep you folks in the loop on how it all goes down. Thanks again, cheers!

Hey there,! I'm not an expert, but got some experience with cars. I had a similar issue with my 2020 Volvo V90 diesel. It turned out to be a defective cable connection of the control unit, which affected the BUS system communication - sounded a bit gobbledegook to me too, but my trusty workshop sorted it, costing me around 155 Euro. Just a thought, but have you checked your manual or done a diagnostic test? Could really help pinpoint the problem. Also, could you maybe share more about your car? Things like mileage or recent maintenance could be useful. Hope you get it fixed soon!
