Seeking Advice on 2022 Kia Stonic's Navigation and Audio System Issue

Audio system is not working

Navigationssystem is not working

Hey everyone, I've got an issue happening with my 2022 Kia Stonic, Gasoline engine. Lately, the Navigation and Audio system just went kaput. It seems like there's a problem with the Navigation image data, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyone else ever have something similar happen? What did you do to get it fixed, and how did it turn out in the workshop? Any tips would really help! Thanks!

Hey there! I encountered a similar issue with my 2021 Kia Stonic a while back. Even though I'm not a car expert, I've had some experience dealing with stuff like this. After some tinkering, I found the issue was a faulty cable connection. Took that bad boy to my local workshop and they got the wires back in working order in no time. Best part, it only set me back 155€, pretty reasonable if you ask me. Before I can give you a detailed fix, could I have more info about your vehicle? Things like the exact navigation and audio systems model, for instance. Hope this helps a bit!

Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience. I appreciate your response. My Stonic has been running on a 68910 KM mileage. It's not given too many issues before now. As for the navigation and audio system specifics, it has the original radio-cassette with built-in navigation. Hope this gives you a good enough idea about my ride! Cheers!

Hey! Thanks for getting back with the details, it's really helpful. Based on your description, it sounds kind of familiar. If the navigation image data is corrupt or the system just isn't working, I'd suspect it could also be an issue with the wiring or maybe even a fuse. In my case, the issue was with the wiring, but remember, I'm not an expert. From what I've experienced, a trip to a professional might be warranted. They can properly diagnose if it's a wiring issue, an error with the navigation system data, or something else entirely. If it’s a similar issue like what I had, it shouldn't set you back too much. Just to be safe, start with the basics, check your fuses first. They're often ignored but could easily be the cause of your troubles. Good luck! Let me know how it turns out.

Hey, thanks for the advice! I'd definitely start looking into the basics by checking the fuses. If that doesn't help, I guess a trip to the nearest workshop is on the cards. Your insights sure did give me a direction. Just hoping it doesn't dent my pocket a lot. I got your point, though. Will update you on how it turns out. Cheers for now!
