Hey! Thanks a bunch for your reply. I gotta admit, your story makes a whole lot of sense to me. It actually reminds me of this finicky issue I had a while ago with faulty cable connections on my go-old TV. I betcha it's pretty much the same here, just more complicated, eh? I'm on good terms with this local shop near my place. I reckon I'll stop by this weekend and get 'em to take a proper look at my Axela. Last tinkering it had was at 62170 KM, so it's not exactly fresh out of the box. I'll make sure to keep you and the lovely here posted. Again, appreciate the help. You're a lifesaver!
No worries at all! That's what we're here for after all—getting each other out of sticky situations, eh? Reading about your past experience with that pesky TV cable, I'm pretty confident you’re on the right track here. And regards to it being more complicated - well, I’d say it's just fancier with cars being involved. Good on you for deciding to bring your Mazda to that local shop. A thorough check is definitely a good call here. Tell them to especially eye that sensor cable. With the mileage on your ride, it may just have met its end. We all know that cables, no matter in a TV or in a car, just aren't immortal. Looking forward to hearing about your adventure. Good luck and let's hope for an easy fix! Don’t let this car drama keep you down. After all, every good story needs a twist, right? Hang in there!
Hey! Cheers for the quick reply and the morale boost! Yeah, you're spot on about the twist in every good story. This certainly isn't how I pictured spending my weekend but well, guess that's just how the cookie crumbles. You bet I will tell them to lay their eagle eyes on that sensor cable! I'll keep you all in the loop about this whole saga. Fingers crossed it's an easy fix. Thanks a heap for your help and that dose of optimism. You're a real diamond! Let's turn this car drama into a comedy, shall we? Happy motoring and catch ya later!
Hey! Not an expert here but I've had a similar experience with my 2019 Mazda3 Turbo. Turned out, my issue was a defective sensor cable connection. After spending too many hours Googling stuff, I swallowed my pride and took my ride to a local workshop. Being friendly with the mechanics definitely didn't hurt my cause, they quickly spotted that wonky sensor cable. It caused a distress signal sent to the car's main computer, hence the engine shutting off, and that annoying warning light. The total damage ended up being around 365 Euro for troubleshooting and having that cable replaced. Knowing your car's specific model, any modifications, or if you've had any past issues could possibly help pinpoint your problem more accurately. Keep me posted how you get on, always keen to learn more from these car dramas. Hope this helps!
