Seeking Advice on 2021 Hyundai Creta Navigation System Malfunction and Reliable Mechanic Recommendations
Navigationssystem is not working
4 comment(s)
Hey! I had a bit of a problem with my 2021 Hyundai model's navigation system as well. I can totally relate to how frustrating it can be. Like said, it was the head unit causing the trouble for me too. Wanted to check in with you: do you remember what sort of cost you were looking at when you replaced the unit? Also, just out of curiosity, have any more issues popped up with your Tucson since then? Fingers crossed it's nothing major! Stay safe on the roads. Cheers!
Hey! Yeah, driving without a navigation system definitely doesn't make for pleasant journeys, eh? Well, after I got my Tucson's head unit replaced, it was pretty much smooth sailing from there. No more gremlins popping up in the system, thankfully. The cost, you ask? Well, it ran me about 725 Euro, which, while it wasn't exactly cheap, proved to be money well spent since it sorted the problem. Now the display is working like a charm, making my trips all the easier. Also, regarding the mechanic, it can be a real hit-or-miss, but the chap who sorted out my tech issue really knew his stuff. Sometimes it's just about being patient and finding the right guy. Hope your journey to getting your navigation system fixed is a smooth one! Stay safe. Cheers!
Thanks a ton, guys, for sharing your experiences! It's quite helpful to know that it might be a problem with the head unit. 725 Euro is a bit steep for me, but if that's what it takes to get the job done, it seems inevitable. I'm based in Madrid, so if anyone can recommend a reliable mechanic around here, that would be fantastic! Meanwhile, I'll start the search for the right guy who can set things straight for me. Thanks again for the insights. Hoping for a smooth ride from here on. Cheers and stay safe, all!
Hey there! I had a similar issue with my own 2020 Hyundai Tucson. The display started playing up on me too. Last time it happened, it turned out to be the head unit, which controlled the display and the navigation system. My mechanic had to replace the whole unit. Can't advise on a reliable mechanic without knowing where you are based, but just sharing what happened with my car! Fingers crossed, it's not too serious an issue for your Creta either. Cheers!
