Well, it ran me about 725 Euro, which, while it wasn't exactly cheap, proved to be money well spent since it sorted the problem. Now the display is working like a charm, making my trips all the easier. Also, regarding the mechanic, it can be a real hit-or-miss, but the chap who sorted out my tech issue really knew his stuff.
