Seeking Advice on 2020 Renault Arkana's Warning Light Issue Possibly Related to System Readiness Check

Warning light in the speedometer of the vehicle

Hey everyone, need some help here! I've got a 2020 Renault Arkana running on Gasoline that's having a weird issue. The warning light is glowing on the speedometer, acting pretty odd. My hunch is that the system readiness check didn't go through properly. Has anyone faced this before and figured out a way to fix it? Would love to hear about your personal experiences with this problem or any insight you might have. Cheers!

Hey! I had a similar thing happen with my 2018 Renault Captur (another Renault model). I'm not a pro, just an average Joe with some basic car knowledge. When I had the issue, I realised it was due to the battery recently being disconnected. Took it to my local workshop, they basically reset the system readiness check for me. Coughed up about 90 Euro for it. I reckon you should check if anything similar happened with your battery recently. More info on your car would be super helpful to spot any other potential reasons. Good luck, hope you sort it out.

Hey there! Thanks a ton for the advice. I'll definitely look into that. My Arkana has been well-behaved until now, covered a distance of 179332 km without any major problems. Very interesting to hear about your personal experience with an issue like this. Also, my latest service was literally just a month ago. I'm gonna call the service center and see if they did something with the battery I'm not aware of. I'll let you guys know what happens. Thanks again for your help!

Hey again! Wow, your Arkana has covered quite the distance - she's been a workhorse! I think you're headed in the right direction, reaching out to the service center. If they've done something to the battery in the service, the system readiness check could most definitely get nitpicky. C'mon, it's a Renault - they love being perfect, don't they? A friend of mine had mentioned about a similar issue with his Megane after getting some battery work done. Just a thought: you might also wanna check if any update was applied on your vehicle software during the last service. Sometimes these updates can have a few bugs and cause warnings. In most cases, a simple reset by the service centre sorts it out. Keep us posted, now I'm curious to know how it pans out. Good luck! Easy does it.

Hey, thanks for coming back to me on this! Looks like our Renaults do have a flair for the dramatic, eh? Haha! Appreciate the heads-up on checking for software updates. Wouldn't have thought of that! You're absolutely right about Renault - always striving for perfection. Will reach out to the service centre first thing tomorrow and see if there were any updates or battery changes that went down during my last service. I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes. Thanks again for the help. Really appreciate it! Let's see what the morning brings. Cheers!
