Air conditioning blows warm air

Hey there! First off, thanks for the response! Yeah, your situation sounds much like mine. Every time I switch on the AC, it just seems to blow warmer air, no cooling at all. There aren't any weird sounds though, just seems like the AC compressor doesn't want to do its thang! By the way, my Murano's mileage is around 142510 KM and the last service was done a couple of months back when everything seemed to be in top condition. Let's see what our fellow petrolheads have to suggest. Thanks again!

Hey! Sounds like we had a spookily similar issue! Seems like your AC compressor has decided to take an extended vacation, just like mine did. The absence of any weird noises is kinda good news, it suggests that there might not be a catastrophic failure. Your Murano's pretty high mileage leaves me to believe that the AC compressor might just have worn out over time. And of course, this really depends on how much you've been using the AC and how you've maintained it. Let's not forget that even the best of us cannot always dodge Murphy's Law! In my case, I got mine sorted at the local Nissan service center. It cost me a pretty penny, but it was worth it in the end. Your best bet would be to take your Murano to a trusted mechanic or your local dealership. It might cost you, but trust me, driving with a perfectly cool AC is worth the investment! Keep us posted on what happens. Good luck! Hope your Murano cools down real soon!

Hey! Right back at ya with the spookily similar situations! Who knew our cars' ACs would decide to go on vacay at the same time, huh? I guess Murphy's Law really knows no bounds. Your advice makes a world of sense to me. Given my Murano's mileage (and the fact that I do love me some cool air when driving), it could very well be that my AC compressor has just worn itself out. Take it to a trusted mechanic, you say? Sounds like a plan! Just love how everyone here gives the best advice. At times like these, you realise that we're all just a bunch of petrolheads trying to help each other out, right? I'll definitely keep y'all posted and let's hope my trusted mechanic can make sure me and my Murano beat the heat soon. Thanks again for your advice! Really appreciate it! Til my next update! Cheers!

Hey there, I had a similar issue with my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder a couple years back. I'm not an expert, just someone with a bit of car know-how. Looked like the AC compressor was indeed the troublemaker. Took the car to my local workshop, and they confirmed my suspicion. Had to shell out about 625 Euro for a new unit plus labor. Might be the same issue you're facing. But hey, every car is a different story. Could you share some more information about how it behaves when you try to use the AC, any peculiar noises or anything else unusual? That would help us figure out the issue more accurately.
