Spray nozzles frozen

Hey, that's a real lifesaver! You've given me a good direction to move forward in. Plus, it doesn't seem to be as complicated as I feared, thankfully. Just out of curiosity, can you recall how much you were charged for it? Also, have you encountered any issues with it since? Cheers for all your help!
Hey, no problem, happy to help! If I remember correctly, the whole cable connection fix set me back around 155 Euro. Not exactly peanuts, but hey, worth it for peace of mind, you know? As for your other question, it's been smooth sailing since the mechanic sorted it out. That pesky spray nozzle heater problem was sorted after the fix. No more instances of it acting up on chilly days. Always nice when a fix actually fixes the problem for good, ain't it? Hope this eases your concerns a bit. Reach out if you've got any more questions!
Aw you're a real champ! Yep, I agree, €155 is a small price to pay for not having to deal with frozen nozzles on a frosty day. And hell yeah, it's always a win when a mechanical fix sticks! I feel like I walked into this pretty blind and you've given me a solid rundown. Cheers for shedding light on it and for offering to stick around for more questions. You just made my day, and probably my upcoming mechanic visit, a lot less stressful!
Hey there! I drive a 2017 Kia Sportage, and I had a similar issue a while ago. Turned out to be a cable connection issue, not the heater. My spray nozzles were freezing because the cable connection to the nozzle heaters was defective. At the garage, the guys first checked the fuses, then traced the wiring from the fuse box to the nozzles. Found out there was a loose connection. The fix wasn't too complex. They simply had to reconnect and secure the wiring. No biggie, but it can be a real pain if it happens frequently or in freezing weather. Although it isn't a major issue, it's definitely something you'd want to get fixed in order to keep the nozzles working in winter. Hope this helps you for your next visit to the mechanic. Cheers!
