Hey, appreciate you sharing your experience. My S90 is all I've got and imagining it as a potential goner gives me the shivers! Your words gave me a bit of relief, though, and it looks like I should start searching for a decent garage sooner rather than later. Do you happen to remember what it cost you to get the radiator and those hoses replaced? And has anything else decided to act up with your V60 ever since?

Hey there, glad my experience gave you some comfort! Well, as for the costs, they depended on the parts that needed to be replaced and the labor. From what I recall, fixing the low coolant issue cost me about 52.50 €. And since I got that sorted, my ride's been working like a charm, no more heated Jacuzzi show from my V60. Seems like finding a good garage and getting your S90 checked out sooner rather than later is the road to take. Trust me, it's worth investing in nipping this issue in the bud before it becomes a bigger one. Hope this puts you at ease again!

Thanks a ton for the advice and for being so helpful! Your price point gave me a ballpark figure to keep in mind. I'm sincerely hoping my dear S90 isn't plotting a Jacuzzi show for me as well. Going to start hunting down a nice garage first thing in the morning and get this issue resolved ASAP. Again, thanks a ton for your insights and input!

Hey, totally feel ya. Same issue popped up on my 2014 Volvo V60 not long ago. My ride was hyping up its own little sauna and the coolant warning drove me nuts. Thought it was a goner, but turned out not as major as it sounds. Ended up at this local garage and these lads knew their stuff. Long story short, it was a coolant leak. They had to replace the entire radiator, some pipes and hoses that were leaking too. It's pretty critical to sort because continuous overheating could seriously damage your engine. Just keep an eye for any puddles under your car and check the coolant tank regularly for a bit. If it's going down fast, it's probably a leak. Best of luck and hope this input helps!
