Hey! Thanks so much for the input! My Mazda 2 Diesel is a manual. That's some useful insight you've shared. Glad it didn't hit your pocket too hard. I'll see if a bad cable connection could be the culprit here as well. But it’s kind of surprising, given that my ride's got just 18605 km on it. Hopefully it won't be too much of a hassle to fix. Cheers!
No worries glad I could help! Manual, you say? Interestingly, I've heard of a few instances where the clutch switch in manual Mazdas acted up, causing the cruise control to conk out. It might be worth checking out, considering your low mileage. You know, these little glitches can pop up anytime, regardless of how many km you've clocked. I wouldn't sweat it too much, cars can be quirky beasts sometimes. Do let us know what your mechanic finds, won't you? Good luck and cheers!
Thanks again for the tip! A faulty clutch switch, huh? I wouldn't have thought of that. Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction! I'll definitely bring this up with my mechanic and see what they find. Fascinating and frustrating, these car quirks. I'll keep y'all posted on how the fix goes. Your advice has been invaluable. Cheers!
Hey there! I had a similar issue with my 2014 Mazda 3 a while back. I'd say I have some car experience but not pro level. Turned out to be a defective cable connection. Took it to my local workshop, they diagnosed the fault and sorted it out. It wasn’t too steep either, only set me back 95 Euro. Is your Mazda manual or automatic? Having that info might help pin down the exact issue. Hope you get it sorted without too much fuss. Cheers!
