Seeking Advice on 2016 Fiat Freemont Shaking While Idling and Jerking During Acceleration

Hey, interesting one you got there. I had something similar happening with my 2014 Fiat 500, petrol-burner too. Now, I ain't no car guru but I do know my way around an engine bit, you know, some experience. Anyway, here's what happened: I took my Fiat 500 to my usual workshop, they're no-nonsense ; always sort me out. They ran diagnostics and lo and behold, it was the accelerator pedal module causing the shakin' and jerkin', some electronics inside went wonky. Set me back 265 Euro, but that did the job, car's been running smooth as butter since then. Wonder if it could be similar for your Freemont? Just remember the mileage on my Freemont is 75088 km, and the latest service was a few months ago. No error messages, except for the blinking check engine light. But yeah, there is this slight delay in throttle response when accelerating. Maybe that's related?
