Hey, thanks for the quick response! I have to admit, a relief knowing I'm not the only one dealing with this kind of drama. I didn't get any error code yet. I'm gonna have to run a diagnostic check ASAP. Your story gives me hope though. 240 Euro sounds reasonable, especially if it gets ol' Faithful up and running smoothly again. Just to complete the picture, she's got 158475 km on the odometer and her last service was a while ago. I'll keep you posted about what I discover. Fingers crossed it's just the pressure sensor. Much appreciated!
No worries at all! Yeah, it can definitely give you a bit of a scare when these things start acting up. You're doing the right thing getting a diagnostic though, it'll give you the full story. Given what you've described and your Freemont's mileage, some sensor issue does sound likely. Still, it could be other things too, you know? Maybe a worn out injector or a dodgy EGR valve. Those kilometers do start to add up. Just remember, the diagnostic check is your. It'll tell you what's wrong and then you can sort out the best way to fix it. Don’t let it get you down, I've had plenty of funny turns with my Fiat and she's still chugging along nicely. Let me know how you get on with the check, alright? Finger-crossed it's nothing major. Stay safe and good luck!
Cheers! Appreciate the heads up about the potential injector or EGR valve issues. The diagnostic check is definitely my next step. I'll be sure to update you once I have more info. It's great to hear that even with all the niggles, your Fiat's still going strong. Gives me hope that I'll be back on the road in no time. Thanks again for the advice, really saved my bacon there!
Hey! This reminds me of a similar issue I had with my 2014 Fiat 500X. I have some experience with cars - not a pro, but not exactly a rookie either. My car was giving me similar fuss - jerky ride, unusual smoke, and bad fuel economy. Turned out the problem was with the pressure sensor. I went to my trusted workshop and they diagnosed it as a defective pressure sensor. Had to shell out 240 Euro to get it fixed but it was worth every penny. Getting back on the road without the constant worrying was a relief. But, hey it could be a different issue for your car. Do you have any error code? Or have you had a mechanic inspect it yet? Sharing these details might help narrow down the situation and can give you a better idea of what you're up against. I hope this helps! Cheers!
