Hey, that sounds really similar to my situation. I'm so grateful for your insight and I'm glad your troubles got resolved! The alternators and battery seem like a smart place to start. Do you recall, ballpark figure, what the bill was for diagnosing and replacing the parts? Also, have you noticed any other signs of trouble after getting this fixed? Always useful to know what might be around the corner. Thanks again!
Hey, glad to hear my experience could help you out a bit! Regarding the cost, I paid around 290€ to wipe out the Battery defective/battery discharged issue, and let me tell you, it's money well spent. Post that, and after getting the Interruption of Terminal 30 fixed, I've had no further issues. My 2012 Lexus GS450h is now purring like a kitten and hasn’t given me guff since. So, I reckon you'll be on the right track once you get these initial problems sorted. Stay positive! We've all been through the old mechanical wringer from time to time. You'll be out the other end before you know it!
you've been a lifesaver, seriously! Your advice has been a real relief in this electrical maze that I've been stuck in. Good to know that once I bite the bullet and cough up the dough, I could very well be sorted and back on the road with no hassles. I will definitely look into getting these electrical issues dialed in ASAP. You've been incredibly helpful and given me a bit more optimism about this whole situation. As they say, we've all got our own mechanical fires to put out, right? Thanks again! I'll keep you posted with the updates. Until then, take care and happy driving!
Hey there, just saw your query. I've got a 2012 Lexus GS450h and went through something quite similar not long ago. Was having the same kind of wonky lights and battery fatigue. It took a couple of visits to the mechanic for him to properly diagnose it, but ultimately it boiled down to the battery being defective as well as the alternators losing their integrity. Lucky for me, my -in-law’s a mechanic and knows his stuff. He took one look and said it’s the battery and alternators at fault. The battery simply wasn't holding charge anymore, so during startup, the drained battery wasn't supplying the alternators with enough power to distribute the electricity optimally. After the diagnosis, they ended up replacing the battery and overhauling my alternators. The entire diagnosis and work on the battery and alternator wasn't trivial by any means, but once they sorted it, the problem was pretty much gone. Car's been running fine since. Hang in there! You'll get it sorted.
