Hiya! Appreciate your reply. The mileage on my Sandero is currently 60624 KM. Its last service was a while back, but I've kept up with regular maintenance. If it is a faulty cable issue as you suggested, that gives me a clear starting point.Shall get my local garage to have a look at it. Thanks again! Cheers!

No worries we're all here to help each other out after all! With the mileage you have, it's quite possible that the cable could be the problem. Make sure your garage checks the electrical connections between the pump and controller. It's not uncommon for corrosion to set in and cause issues with these components. It might be worthwhile getting them to check the primary water pump and thermostat as well, just to rule these factors out. These problems can sometimes appear as a package in older cars. And yeah, do keep up with those regular maintenance schedules, they can be a lifesaver in the long run. Hope it goes easy for you at the garage. Keep us posted!

Hey there! I faced a similar issue with my 2013 Dacia Logan. I'd say my car know-how is somewhere around 'some experience'. The problem with my vehicle turned out to be a faulty Cable on the pump/control unit. My mechanic at the local workshop sorted it out for me, cost me about 225 Euro. Not sure if your issue is the exact same, but from your description, it does seem likely. Could you provide more details about your car? Like its mileage, maintenance record, etc. It'll help paint a clearer picture and better troubleshoot your problem. Cheers!
