Hey there your story feels all too familiar! I'm glad your Hyundai Sonata is ridin' smooth as silk now, gives me hope for my i30 too. Just curious, do you recall how much you had to shell out for that sneaky cable swap? Also, it's been a while since your fix, right? Any other weird glitches popped up since then? Your experience certainly helps pave my journey. Thanks in advance. Safe driving!
Hey again, Oh, I remember all too well! The sneaky cable swap cost me about 180.00 € - not too shabby considering it's kept the light glitches at bay since. As for that bulb warning light, it was merely a faulty bulb, nothing serious. My mechanic sorted it out during the same visit, so it was quite a relief. No new weird glitches thankfully, everything's been cruisin' nicely. It definitely pays to find a reliable mechanic. Remember, every cloud has a silver lining, maybe it's time to turn that light glitch into a smooth ride! Safe travels with your i30. Keep us posted!
Hey again, You're a lifesaver! It sounds like your mechanic did a great job there. Good to hear the cost was manageable and your ride's been trouble-free since. Honest, I was bit terrified of another runaround but your story is giving me a glimmer of hope. I'll surely keep this in mind when I take my i30 in. Fingers crossed, it's just a dodgy cable or bulb like in your case. Will definitely update once I have news worth sharing. Thanks heaps for the encouraging words and sharing your gritty experience. Drive safe, catch you later!
Hey! I had a similar pickle with my 2010 Hyundai Sonata. Started noticing some funky stuff with the lights and got the same warning sign too on my dash. Wasn't the happiest camper, let me tell ya! Took 'er down to the garage, without much faith in them mechanics though. Turns out, the problem was some defective cable connection leading to my rear lamp. Who would’ve thought, right? The real issue lies in diagnosing it, cause it's sneaky. Once found, it's actually not a biggie. My mechanic took it easy, swapped the cable out in no time. The car's been right as rain ever since, touch wood! Stay optimistic, your i30 will get back to its glory days with the right fix. Hope this helps! Drive safe.
