Appreciate your response! My Fiat's got about 149643 km on the clock. No significant issues till now, just some usual wear and tear. The latest service was done about two months ago. But this headlamp leveller problem sprang up out of nowhere. I'll take a leaf out of your book and check with the local workshop for that servomotor issue. Thanks for the tip!
Hey no problem! Off the top of me head and with the mileage you're running, it completely sounds like an issue with the servomotor or the headlight range control system. I wouldn't rule out either. But don't take my word for it, let a seasoned mechanic do his magic. Cars can throw curveballs at you from nowhere sometimes. Your best bet is to take it to your local workshop and get it thoroughly checked out. And remember, it could be something small or minor so don't stress yourself out too much. As for the cost, it may vary depending on the exact issue. Asking around a few garages or online could give you a ballpark figure. Keep me updated on how it goes and good luck with the fix!
You're not wrong there. Cars do have a way of surprise, don't they? You've been really helpful. I think you're absolutely right about the servomotor or the headlight range control system. I'll get my trusty mechanic on it and see what he says. Your comments have given me a ballpark on the cost too, many thanks for that. Will definitely keep you posted. For now, take care and cheers for the advice!
Hey there! I've some experience with cars and I remember something like this happening with my 2011 Fiat Punto. It turned out to be a defective servomotor in the headlight. I'm no car guru, just an average Joe with some knowledge. I took my car to my local workshop, and the mechanics there diagnosed and fixed the issue. Cost me around 1040 Euro, but it did the trick. Knowing more details about your car - like mileage, any prior issues, and general condition could help provide a more accurate assessment.
