Hey there, thanks for the quick reply! It surely seems like I might be dealing with the pressure sensor issue like you had before. My C70 has racked up approxily 141848 KM on the clock. The last service was just a few months ago, but it didn't include any engine-related repairs, just some basic maintenance stuff. About the engine light, unfortunately, I haven't gotten any error codes yet. I'm thinking of taking it to my regular mechanic to get a proper diagnostic done and get those if any. Your experience gives me a better idea of what I might be dealing with though, so really appreciate it! Cheers .

Hey, glad to be of assistance! Good to hear that you're going to have your C70 looked at by your mechanic, as these symptoms can represent a lot of different underlying problems and it really requires a professional to narrow it down. About the error codes, once they are retrieved from your car, it’ll make the identification of the actual problem much easier. It's also promising that your car was serviced not too long ago, as it likely rules out more severe wear-and-tear issues. And yeah, the pressure sensor issue was a real headache for me until I got it fixed. Make sure your mechanic gives it a thorough check, considering your car's symptoms. Also, ensure they inspect the fuel injectors and the fuel pump, as they can also lead to similar issues. Let us know how it goes. I’m pretty interested to see if your C70 has got the same issue as my S40 had. Fingers crossed it’s something minor and easily resolved! Cheers, good luck and safe driving!

Hello again! Thanks for the words of encouragement and extra tips – I'll definitely make sure to ask my mechanic to check the fuel injectors and pump as well. You're right, these symptoms could mean various things and getting a comprehensive checkup done sounds like the most sensible step now. I'll definitely keep you updated once we actually figure out what's wrong. Maybe our cars are indeed having kind of the 'same issue club' haha! Sure hope it's minor, appreciate your help and fingers crossed. Safe driving to you too! Cheers!

Hey, ran into a similar issue with my 2008 Volvo S40 Diesel, pretty close to your C70. It sounds like you're on the right track suspecting the pressure sensor! Although I'm no expert when it comes to cars, I do have some experience dealing with them. My S40 started acting up, showing similar symptoms as you described. I took it to my local workshop where they diagnosed it might indeed be the pressure sensor acting up. To get it fixed, it cost me around 240 Euro - a bit hefty, but since then, I've had no issues. Sure enough, the pressure sensor was defective. In my case, fixing that solved all the problems. Could you please tell me more about your car's current state, its last service, how many miles it has run, and whether you got any engine error code when the check engine light came on? That could help in getting a better understanding and I'd be glad to help you further! Hope this helps, and good luck!
