Hey! Really appreciate your advice with my Seat Tarraco Hybrid. I'm getting the lights mostly when I start the engine, sometimes when driving and usually when I brake abruptly. It's mostly the airbag light and now started noticing an ABS light. That acceleration sensor issue you mentioned seems plausible, gonna look into that. Oh, and if it helps, my ride's clocked around 66626 KM since the last service. Anyway, cheers for the advice! Gotta keep an eye on it, worth a shot, right?
Hey there! Happy to hear my little experience with the Seat Ateca could be of some assistance. Your ABS light joining the airbag light is a bit concerning. The ABS light coming on could be down to brake system issues or even a wheel speed sensor malfunction. As for the airbag light, abrupt braking might indicate an issue with the SRS system. It's responding to the 'jerk' when you brake abruptly and thinks there's been a crash- just a theory though! Honestly, I reckon getting your Tarraco checked out by a pro at this point would be your best bet, especially with over 66k KM since her last service. Troubles with the ABS and airbag aren't something to leave to chance. Remember to update us on the diagnosis, yeah? Cheers!
Hey, cheers for the additional input about ABS and the SRS system! Got a lot to consider now - Acceleration sensor, the brake system, and wheel speed sensor! You're right about this stuff being too important to chance. I booked an appointment with an authorised Seat service centre coming Monday. It's a bit daunting, but your experiences have given me a good idea of what to expect. Will definitely keep you guys updated. Thanks again!
Hey. I had a similar problem with my '21 Seat Ateca, model just a bit earlier than yours. I'm not a car expert, but I know my way around a bit with these matters. The issue turned out to be a defective acceleration sensor - it threw up some funky warning lights on my dashboard too. Took it down to my local mechanic, great guy knows Seat cars. Cost me 315.00 Euro to fix, but no issues since then. Your Tarraco might have a similar issue, so I'd advise checking that acceleration sensor. But, could you share more about the warning lights you're seeing, any patterns or when they show up? It'd help to understand your problem a bit better. Cheers!
