Hiya! Thanks for sharing your experience. It's given me a fresh perspective for sure! I do keep my Sandero pretty well serviced; the lastservicing was around 10,000 KM ago. So, she's at around 72333 KM now. I can’t recall a deep clean being done though during any of my regular services. I guess it’s worth looking into the Intake channels as you suggested. By the way, was the Intake channels cleanup included in the 425 Euro or was it charged separately? Your input's appreciated!
Hey again! Glad that my previous input was of some help to you. About your question, yep, the 425 Euro did cover the cost of cleaning the Intake channels. It was a part of the whole treatment the mechanic gave my Logan. Also, considering that your car is now sitting around 70 K KM, cleaning the Intake channels could probably do some good. There's a fair bit of gunk that builds up over time. Despite keeping up with regular service, I've noticed that they sometimes miss out on the deep cleaning part, which can turn into a problem like you're experiencing now. If it's the same issue, once it's cleaned out, you should notice an immediate improvement in your car's performance. So, fingers crossed, your Sandero will start singing again very soon! Cheers!
Brilliant! Thanks yet again for all the info. It definitely seems like the Intake channels could be the culprit causing all the tomfoolery. I'll get my Sandero to the garage at the earliest and request them to give it a thorough cleanout. Really hoping this would restore her to her usual energetic self. Now I feel much better equipped to handle this and I owe it to you. Cheers! And I'll keep you posted on how it goes!
Hey there! Sounds like we've ridden in the same boat. I've got a 2017 Dacia Logan and was dealing with pretty much the same issues you're having right now. Now, I ain't no mechanic but I've been around cars for a bit, enough to know a thing or two. I took my Logan to the local garage, and after a detailed diagnosis, they found out the Intake channels were heavily contaminated. It seems like a small issue, but did cause a whole lot of trouble. Is your Sandero getting regular servicing? Anyway, the guys at the workshop gave her a thorough cleanout and that did the trick. It set me back by 425 Euro, but it stopped those problems dead in their tracks. Do you know your car's maintenance history? It might give some clues as to why this could be happening. Let us know more - we might be able to help further!
