What's up! Yes, it sounds like we're in the same boat, doesn't it? I'm curious, do you recall approximately how much you paid for the fix? And, since that was sorted, did you encounter any other bizarre issues? I'm definitely being watchful now, I don't want any more 'small potatoes' turning into major hassles. Appreciate your info and hope to hear back! Cheers!
Hey! Yeah, it's funny how the same car issues seem to pop up across different models isn't it? So, to answer your question, if I remember correctly, I shelled out about 165 euro to get the dodgy cable connection patched up between the control unit and the display. Not too steep, right? Pretty much kept everything under the hood in harmony after that. And you know what? Since the fix, my sound system's come back to life! No more off-key tunes to kill my groovy drives. Nothing else out of the ordinary's come up either. Guess that trip to the mechanic did the trick. So, keep a sharp eye! You never know when those little glitches turn into gremlins. But with some vigilance, hopefully you'll be dodging any major bullcrap. Cheers, and best of luck with the fix!
Hey there! Appreciate the quick answer. Sounds like this could very well be the same issue, fingers crossed it's not going to get too steep for me. Relieved to know that the bizarre behaviour of my Arkana might just be a 165 euro fix away from being resolved and that you faced no other problems afterwards. Like you said, no more of those pesky 'gremlins' messing up my driving experience, I hope! Thanks again for the useful advice. I'm off to the garage first thing in the morning. Cheers and take care!
Hey! Those symptoms sound a lot like what I encountered on my 2018 Renault Kadjar a while back. The culprit was a faulty cable connection between the control unit and the display. The on-board system was giving me false environmentally friendly driving recommendations and the rear parking aid was making a weird buzzing sound. It’s not the most serious issue, but it does put a real dampener on things, especially if you rely on your Sat Nav often or enjoy some high-quality music whilst driving. Luckily, your local garage should be more than capable of handling this. Mine were able to diagnose the fault, and then fix the poor connection, so your usual mechanics should be able to do the same. Stay vigilant though; poor connections might seem like small potatoes now, but they can cause bigger headaches down the line if not sorted pronto. You’re lucky to have caught this early. Hope this helps! Best of luck with getting it sorted out. Cheers!
