Hey, cheers for the advice! I do believe the ABS sensor might be it. By the way, my Ulysee was converted to gas right about the time I bought it, which was about two years ago, if memory serves. Yet, I can't quite connect this conversion with the current issues because everything worked perfectly until now. To share a bit more, my ride is a 2008er with a gasoline engine, clocked in at 33781 km, had it last serviced a couple of months ago. The ABS light and system trouble has just popped up recently. Really hoping it's not gonna cost me a fortune to fix. Appreciate your input and will definitely keep you posted. Cheers!
Hey again, thanks for sharing more details about your Ulysee. Just like you, I couldn't figure out an immediate connection between the gas conversion and the ABS problem when I was troubleshooting my Scudo. But who knows, right? Vehicles and their gremlins! Your car's young age and low mileage make it less probable for some serious ABS fault to come up, unless there is some hard wear and tear or some freak mechanical failure, which I intuit won't be likely. With your recent service record, I'd guess they might have overlooked something, maybe related to the ABS system? I'd personally run it by them, get your service documents out and see if anything ADS/DSC related was checked or replaced. Anyway, remember the cost for my ABS sensor fix? It might not be THAT bad considering the peace of mind you'll get in return. Meanwhile, don't worry too much, and let's hope it's just the wheel speed sensor acting up. Looking forward to hearing an update after your trip to the workshop. Keep us in the loop, you've got this! Cheers!
Hey there, really appreciate your insights and reassuring words - It's a relief to learn I'm not alone in this. Also, your advice to check up on my last service documents is quite reasonable. Who knows, could find something useful. As for the cost, you're right, better to spend now than regret later. I'll indeed keep you and the rest of the lot posted on what the workshop excavates. Here's hoping it's just the ABS sensor on the fritz. Thanks again for the swift response and the moral boost. Fingers crossed, and onto fixing this gremlin, eh? Cheers!
Hey there, I reckon I can relate to your issue. I'm no expert mechanic, just got some experience from dealing with a similar ABS sensor issue with my own 2010 Fiat Scudo. Here's how it went down: Initially, I thought I misdiagnosed, but turns out my hunch was right. I drove it around to my trusted local workshop, and after a quick diagnostic, the guys confirmed it - ABS sensor was the evil-doer. Got it swapped for a fresh one and all those disturbing lights and issues vanished like magic. The fix cost me around 260 Euro. Not cheap, but totally worth it peace-of-mind wise. Just out of curiosity, you mentioned that your Ulysee is running on gas. Has it been converted, and if so, when was the conversion done? Maybe it's playing a part in all this? Anyways, provide a few more specifics on your ride, and maybe I can help you out a bit further. Keep us updated, yeah? Cheers!
