Hey, your problem reminds me of what I had last time with my 2012 Golf TDI. The symptom was also the Check Engine light and a decrease in power from my engine. The mechanic at the time determined that the DPF regeneration system was clogged. Given what you've written, this could be the case for you too. The whole thing is not really serious and only requires cleaning of the particulate filter. Have it checked at a garage. It shouldn't be a big job and can be fixed quickly. Don't forget to have the fuel filter checked as well, this could explain the rough idling and increased fuel consumption. Don't worry, they'll sort it out!

Hey, thanks for the tip! Your experience reassures me a little. If you don't mind me asking, approximately how much did it cost you back then? And have there been any other problems since then? Because if it's that easy to fix, that would of course be ideal. It's just annoying if it keeps coming back.

Hey, I had a similar case once. In my case, however, a hose was leaking. The repair cost €102. That was to repair the rubber hose between the DPF and the sensor, which was leaking. Since then I've had no further problems in this area, so the repair seems to have worked. Really, don't worry about it. The guys at the garage already know what they're doing. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it goes just as smoothly for you! By the way, I now drive an Audi Q3 and it's been running smoothly so far. So, cheer up, you'll be fine!

Hey guys, I also had similar problems with my old diesel and this mysterious differential pressure of the diesel particulate filter. In my case, as the mileage increased, which in my case was also in the region of over 90,000 km, the system apparently became more and more sensitive. First the vehicle consumed more fuel, then the engine became restless and finally this annoying check engine light came on. I was almost desperate. What helped me was a thorough cleaning of the DPF. Unfortunately, I can't tell you the exact price, but I think it was around €1000.

How do you do? I'm using this thread because unfortunately I wasn't able to open my own, I just couldn't find an "open new topic" or something similar... btw: Where does this work? My question in this context: can you tell me Carly the ash level of the DPF? Golf7 Diesel. If so, how does that work? I haven't found anything about this in the app. Thank you. By the way, the constant "Take your time to rate the community" popup is extremely annoying when you're about to write a reply.

Hey guys, thank you very much for your advice and personal experiences. It's always good to know that you're not alone and that other people have had similar experiences. The price information sounds reassuring and your success stories have convinced me to take the car to the garage. I hope it goes just as well for me and I don't have any more problems with the machine afterwards. So I took your advice and went to the garage. The mechanic was nice and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. Fortunately, it was only the rubber hose that was leaking. Incidentally, the cost of around €120 was even less than I would have thought and I was able to pick the car up again the same day. Since then everything has been running perfectly, no more problems with the performance, the Check Engine light is off and it uses less fuel again. You were right - the guys at the garage knew what they were doing. Many thanks again.
