Seeking Advice for Hyundai Getz 2004: Blower and Heating/Cooling Issues Possibly Due to AUC Sensor Signal

Insufficient Cooling/Heating

Blower does not work properly

Hey! I've got a 2004 Hyundai Getz with a gas engine and I'm running into some odd issues. My blower isn't working right and the heating/cooling seems insufficient. I think the AUC sensor signal might be to blame but I'm not 100% sure. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did your workshop tackle it? Looking for any tips and advice you can offer. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey there! Sounds like something I faced with my 2002 Hyundai Accent once (different model, same brand). I've got some experience with cars, so I figured it out myself. The mechanic confirmed that yes, the sensor was the culprit and it was defective. Cost me a cool 90 Euro to get it replaced. Once that was done, things were back to normal. Could you share more about your car's specifics? It'll aid in giving you a more accurate solution. Hope this helps!

Hey, thanks for the quick response! Glad to know you faced a similar issue; it's always reassuring to not be the only one! To give a bit more detail about my car, I've clocked around 119963 KM on it, give or take a few. The last service was just a couple of months ago. Thanks again for your help, really looking forward to figuring this out!

Yo! Thanks for sharing those details. They'll be really helpful in determining what could be wrong with your car's blower and heating/cooling system. Since you have a pretty good mileage and have been keeping up with regular service, it seems less likely that it is a routine maintenance issue. Still, you'd want to check out the basics: filters, coolant, etc. But going by what you described, and considering my previous experience with my Accent, it does indeed sound like an issue with your AUC sensor. The sensor might be reading the air incorrectly, causing your blower to work inefficiently and leading to inadequate heating/cooling. Replacing the sensor did do the trick for me, but don't rush into it. You might want to get a professional sketch a diagnostics on it just to be safe. It might cost you a few bob, but believe me, it's worth it in the long run. Let me know how it goes!

Hey, excellent advice! I reckon checking the basics first before diving into sensor replacement is probably a smart approach. No harm in some additional diligence, right? I'll sync up with my mechanic and have them run a thorough diagnostic on the AUC sensor. Really appreciate your guidance on this. I'll definitely update you once I have a fix. Thanks for the support!
