Power windows malfunction

Hey there! Thanks for the quick reply. That's really helpful to know. I actually thought a faulty switch might be the cause, but wasn't sure. In terms of other things, I haven't noticed any weird noises or warnings. I did recently cross over 49243 KM on the odometer. Other than that, no issues since my last service. Fingers crossed it's just the switch like it was for you. I'll take your advice and get it checked. Will drop an update here when I find out what's wrong. Thanks again!
Hey, no problem at all! Always here to help a fellow Lexus driver. Odometer reading shouldn't be causing any issues unless you've somehow magically reached the lifespan of the car at 49243 KM, and I'd really doubt that! In the absence of any strange sounds or lights, my educated hunch remains with the switch or maybe some wiring issue, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Definitely worth having a professional look over it. Good on ya for planning to take it in. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, and yes, please do drop an update here when you get it sorted. Curious to know what they'll find. Safe driving! Cheers!
Hey there! I ran into a similar issue with my 2016 Lexus IS300h, so you're not alone! I'm definitely not an expert when it comes to cars, but I've picked up a few handy pieces of info from dealing with my own car issues. In my case, the problem was actually the window switch, not the regulator. I took it to my workshop and they were able to identify the defect pretty quickly. Cost me about 130 Euro, but after the switch was replaced, the windows worked perfectly. It's worth getting your CT200h checked, could potentially be a similar issue. To give you a more accurate suggestion, could you tell me if there's anything else odd going on? Like strange sounds or any warning lights on your dashboard? Cheers!
