Seat Tarraco 2021 Gas Model Experiencing Engine Issues, Possible Throttle Valve Potentiometer Malfunction

In my case, it turned out the internal mechanics of the throttle valve were indeed cooked. Yep, gotta admit it was a bit of a serious problem. It was behaving like a roller coaster, idling poorly, super unpredictable on acceleration and chugging down the gas. Saw that 'Check Engine' light a bit too often as well. The only option was a full throttle body replacement. Wasn't a fun day at the garage to be honest but it did fix all the symptoms you mentioned. Hey, no worries, happy to help a fellow car lover! Yeah, dealing with the throttle valve issue did make my wallet a tad lighter but thankfully, it got the job done. I had to fork out about 345€ to have the internal mechanics of the throttle valve sorted out. Bit of a pain, I know, but worth it in the end. To answer your other question, I haven't had any big issues since the mechanic fixed the throttle valve potentiometer error. The old girl's been running smoother than ever! It was kinda like hitting the reset button on all those niggling issues. It's been just me, my Seat and the open road ever since. So, fingers crossed, you'll get the same relief I did. Cheers!
