Hey, thanks for your answer! I hadn't previously thought that it could be a cable fault. Do you remember how expensive the whole thing was for you? And has everything worked smoothly since the repair or were there any other problems with your BMW's seat heating afterwards? Many thanks in advance for your help!

Hey, no problem! Well, the whole thing cost me around €155. The fault was in the cable or plug, it was repaired and the seat heating then worked perfectly again. Since my visit to the mechanic, I haven't had any more problems with the seat heating. I hope it will be fixed quickly for you too. Good luck!

Hey, thanks for the help! If it's just a cable fault and everything works again after the repair, I would be more than relieved and satisfied. Your information has definitely eased my worries. I'll call my garage tomorrow and hopefully the problem can be solved quickly. Thanks again and good evening!

Hi I once had the same problem. When I activated the seat heating, the indicator lights lit up briefly and then went out. On the passenger side, the seat heating worked as it should. Off to my trusted garage, where I was told that the heating wires in the seat had burnt out. I had them replaced and everything was fine again.

My heated seats in my 2019 330i are constantly on and the air blows warm.
It sounds like there might be an issue with your car's climate control system. Start by checking the settings on your car's climate control system. If everything seems normal, it could be a faulty climate control module or a problem with the wiring. It's best to have a mechanic inspect it to avoid any potential safety issues.
Hey, I also have a similar BMW, but a 2015 model. Also had problems with the seat heating. In my case it was a defective cable under the cover. The mechanic actually just replaced the cable and the heating worked again. But it was still no walk in the park because he had to take the whole seat apart. So find a good workshop. Good luck with that!
