Hey, yes, I can still remember. I paid a total of around €1000 to repair the engine control unit. It was a hefty sum, but since then my Leon has been running smoothly again. The problem with the ignition coil or possible misfiring was also solved. Since the replacement, there have been no further problems and the engine is running smoothly and reliably again. Hope this helps you! Best regards!

Hey, thanks for the info! It's quite a lot of money, but if it runs without any problems afterwards, it's probably worth it. I'll check with my garage to see if it could be the engine control unit. Hopefully I'll finally have peace and quiet with the car. Thanks again for your tips and help! Best regards!

Misfiring 1cyl. up to 3000rpm. Ignition coil, spark plugs, injector already replaced. Commen rail pressure or high pressure pump ?????
??
It's good that you've already checked the ignition coil, spark plugs, and injector. If the problem persists, it could indeed be related to the fuel system. Before jumping to the high pressure pump, I would suggest checking the fuel filter if it hasn't been replaced recently. A clogged fuel filter can cause misfires. If the fuel filter is fine, then you might need to check the fuel pressure to see if the high pressure pump is working properly. Please keep us updated on your progress. Do you have any other questions?
Hey, I had similar symptoms with my 2016 Seat Leon and it turned out that the engine control unit (ECU) was faulty. In my case it was also: - Black smoke from the exhaust - Check engine light on - Loss of power - Unsettled engine - Jerking under acceleration and starting problems It was a major issue as the engine control unit plays a central role and regulates many systems in the car. At my garage, they had to remove the old ECU and program a new one. After that the problem was fixed and the engine ran smoothly again without any problems. Would recommend you consider the engine control unit and visit a reliable garage for a thorough diagnosis. Good luck! Greetings
