Hey, thanks for the info! Do you remember how much you paid to replace the EGR valve? Did anything else come up afterwards? Best regards,

Hey, yes, I remember it very well. The repair cost me a total of €355. That included replacing the EGR valve and cleaning the connecting hoses. Since then, my Leon has been running perfectly again and I haven't had any more problems. The mechanic also said that the EGR valve is now working perfectly again. I hope this helps you and you get your problem solved quickly! Best regards,

Hey, great, thanks for the info! I think it's worth it for the price. I'll probably not wait much longer and make an appointment with another garage. Your advice has really helped me. I'll get back to you as soon as I have any news. Best regards,

Hey, I had similar problems with my 2015 Seat Leon. The symptoms were almost identical: check engine light on, loss of power, bumpy engine and strong exhaust smell. In my case, the EGR valve was also defective or stuck. This is actually a serious matter, as the EGR valve is responsible for exhaust gas recirculation. If it doesn't work properly, it can cause engine problems and lead to damage in the long term. During the last workshop visit, the defective EGR valve was replaced and the connecting hoses cleaned. The engine then ran perfectly again. I would advise you to visit a workshop as soon as possible and have this checked. I hope this helps you! Greetings,
