Hey, I'm glad I could help you! Since I've been to the mechanic, the problem with the air conditioning system has been resolved. The fault was actually with individual valves in the air conditioning system. The good news is that the repair didn't cost me anything, it was €0 as it was a warranty case. So far, the air conditioning system is working perfectly and there have been no further problems. I hope your problem is also solved quickly and cheaply! Regards

Hey, great, that sounds positive! Unfortunately, my warranty has already expired... I went to the mechanic anyway and told him about the symptoms. Like you, he also suspected defective valves. So I made an appointment, and sure enough, it was the valves. But the repair cost me €350 because he had to take the system apart and replace the parts. Really annoying, but now everything is working perfectly again. I hope it stays that way. Let's see if I get into trouble with the car any time soon... well, fingers crossed! Thanks again for your help! Regards

I own a 2020 Seat Arona (25000 km). I occasionally suffer from "teeth grinding" accompanied by a terrible "screeching" sound. This when putting the car in reverse (especially on cold engine, but sometimes on warm engine). The clutch line has been bled (there was a lot of air in the line ) and new transmission fluid added. This is very frustrating, what could be the cause xin this? More importantly how to fix this. Are there nmore Seat Arona drivers who have this problem with the transmission?

The "teeth grinding" and "screeching" sound you're experiencing when putting the car in reverse could be due to a few different issues. It could be a problem with the reverse gear itself, such as worn-out gear teeth or a misaligned gear. It could also be a problem with the clutch not fully disengaging when you shift into reverse. Since you've already bled the clutch line and added new transmission fluid, I would suggest having the transmission and clutch inspected by a professional mechanic. This is a safety-relevant issue and should be addressed as soon as possible. Please keep us updated on your progress.
Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2016 Seat Leon. In my case, it was due to defective individual valves in the air conditioning system. The symptoms were identical: irregular functioning of the air conditioning system and often only warm air. The mechanic had to replace the defective valves, which was unfortunately a somewhat more time-consuming repair, as the air conditioning system had to be partially dismantled to get to the valves. Fortunately, everything was fine again afterwards. Good luck with the repair! Greetings
