Hey, sure, I can tell you more about it. So, I finally had the problem with the diesel particulate filter (DPF) fixed at the garage. Not only did I need to have it cleaned, but the filter was damaged due to the high mileage and had to be replaced. The whole thing cost me €1550. Since the repair, my Leon has been running smoothly again. No more check engine light, no more black smoke and full power again. It was definitely the right decision to have the DPF replaced. Hope this helps you! Good luck with your Alhambra! Best regards!

Hey, thanks for the info! 1550 is of course a tidy sum, but if everything really runs smoothly again afterwards, it seems worth it to me. I've now made an appointment with a garage nearby, which I hope will be a bit more competent than the last one. Keep your fingers crossed that they can find and fix the problem quickly. It would be a real relief to have the Alhambra fully functional again without these annoying symptoms. If anyone else can recommend good mechanics in Berlin, please let me know! Best regards and thanks again for the tips!

Hi any one have any idea my car seat Alhambra make it black smoke I replaced turbo & egr valve but still make black smoke
Hi Ahmed, since you've already replaced the turbo and EGR valve, the black smoke could be due to a clogged or damaged diesel particulate filter (DPF). This can cause incomplete combustion of the diesel, resulting in black smoke. I recommend having your DPF checked and cleaned or replaced if necessary. Please keep us updated on your progress. Do you have any other questions?
Hey, I drive a 2015 Seat Leon Diesel and had similar problems: black smoke, engine control light, loss of power and problems with DPF regeneration. In my case, the diesel particulate filter was completely full due to the high mileage. They cleaned the DPF at the workshop and then reinstalled it. In some cases, however, the DPF has to be replaced if it is too badly damaged. It's definitely a serious matter because a malfunctioning DPF can greatly affect engine performance and cause long-term damage. Have the filter checked and cleaned as soon as possible. Replace the DPF if necessary. Good luck!
