Hi, thanks for your reply! I haven't actually done any troubleshooting yet, but I will definitely consider it. Apart from the symptoms mentioned, there are no other problems. The last service on my Citroen was about 8000 km ago - when the mileage was 141638 km. Everything has been working fine until recently, it's really frustrating. I will visit the garage soon and hopefully the problem will finally be solved. Thanks for the tip about the intake ducts, I'll definitely have that checked!

Hi again! Yes, that's really frustrating. I'm right there with you. Your mileage isn't extremely high, but a lot can still have happened. I definitely think a fault diagnosis is a good idea. The symptoms you have described could also indicate a broken mass air flow sensor or the throttle valve could be contaminated. Has the car ever been checked for this? I would advise you to have this checked at the garage. Such things can also be cleaned well before replacing expensive parts straight away. In my case, the issue with the intake ducts was also just contamination. So always check first whether cleaning is enough, that can sometimes work wonders! I'll keep my fingers crossed that your problem is solved quickly!

Hello, thanks again for your valuable tips! I hadn't even thought about the mass air flow sensor and the throttle valve. I contacted the garage and they said they could troubleshoot and check these parts. I'm also hoping that a thorough cleaning can fix the problem and I won't have to spend a lot of money on new parts. Thanks again, my mood has brightened a little because now at least there is a plan! Have a great time and I'll keep you posted on how it goes!

Hi community, I'm thinking of buying a Carly. I'm entering this thread because I had similar problems: C4 Picasso Grand, year 2012, approx. 125,000 km. I had coking in the cylinder head. Workshop (expert in engine repair) had the engine opened up and cleaned. Turbocharger was also replaced, battery, water pump. It cost a bundle. I have now driven approx. 2,000 km (mostly on vacation). Oil change still to come. Now in city traffic I get the engine error message again. However, the car drives perfectly. The coking symptom has been rectified by a reliable garage. I am actually primarily looking for a tool to reset the error memory to see if and when the message reappears. Can Carly do this? Many thanks for information, mk

Hello, Yes, the Carly app can usually read out your vehicle and also delete the fault memory. Please let us know exactly which error you have saved so that we can help you.

Hello, I hadn't even seen the answer here (is there no mail or note in the profile?). But I learned in the FAQ etc. that Carly can delete the error memory. I have now bought Carly with a focus on Citroen data. But I have connection problems. I had already contacted support, but apparently they didn't really take note of my screenshot or symptom? I followed the FAQ and reloaded the app, location and Bluetooth on (list of BT applications previously deleted), engine on, adapter plugged in (red light on, blue flashes every second - you can also see Carly under Bluetooth on the cell phone (Samsung Galaxy A51), app (version 49.23) turned on and logged in. When you click "Connect", a pop-up screen always appears immediately: Information Data is currently being prepared, please try again in a few minutes (0%) ok nothing more - I can't get a data connection. Can anyone here help me? The support wants to send me a new adapter - but I have the impression that it is technically OK, as it has a red light on and a blue flashing light + you can see a Carly entry in the available Bluetooth list on my Samsung A51. HELP very appreciated ! Thank you, mk_nrw

It sounds like you've done a lot of troubleshooting already. However, one thing you could try is to ensure that your phone's operating system is up to date. Sometimes, outdated software can cause compatibility issues with apps and devices. If that doesn't work, it might be worth trying to connect the Carly adapter to a different phone or tablet, if you have one available. This could help determine whether the issue is with the adapter itself or with your phone. If none of these steps work, it might indeed be best to accept the offer of a new adapter from the support team.
ok thanks. Yes, I wanted to try that, but haven't implemented it yet. I would try an iphone or something. I don't have to explicitly load further data for Citroen or something onto the cell phone, do I? Are you familiar with this message? I haven't found it on the net. So regarding: "Data is being prepared at the moment, please try again in a few minutes (0%)" thank you, mk_nrw

Hello, you should have an answer to your support ticket ;)

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2011 Citroen DS3. To be honest, I'm not a car expert, but I have some experience with this issue. I took the car to the garage and it turned out that the intake ducts were heavily contaminated. The repair actually cost 425 euros. Your problem could also be related to this, but just to be sure: Did you ever run a fault diagnosis or does the car possibly have other symptoms? Please give me more information about your car, maybe I can help better.
