Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Megane. Glad you could sort it out without too much fuss. My ride's a 2021 Renault Arkana Hybrid. As per your advice, I think taking her down to my local workshop should do the trick. She's at 64122 km right now, serviced just recently. So, here's hoping it's only as simple as a system reset. Will get it checked out ASAP. Appreciate your help! Cheers!
Hey, good to hear back from you. You're riding pretty the same as mine, just under different badge. The Arkana Hybrid is a good choice, quite modern and full of tech. In my opinion, based on that mileage and your last service, I doubt it's anything serious with the car's own systems. My guess is it's likely to be a similar issue to mine - some gremlin in the connectivity setup. It happened to me when I changed my smartphone. Seems like the car's system didn't appreciate the change much! Any chance you've changed your phone recently or updated your software? In any case, I agree with your plan to check it at your local workshop. It's always safe to get professional eyes on it, and the cost is usually pretty reasonable, especially if it's just a system configuration thing. Plus, it'll give you peace of mind to have it sorted rather than keeping it confusing. Cheers, and keep us updated on how you go!
Right you are! Funny you should mention, I did indeed get a new smartphone recently. Maybe my Arkana's got a bit of phone envy, ha! I'll give your theory a shot and take her down to the workshop this weekend. Ensuring it's just a system reconfig rather than something more sinister would certainly lift the confusing cloud off my head and free me to enjoy the drive again. Appreciate your insight and will surely keep you posted. Until then, safe travels! Cheers!
Hey there, looks like we've driven down the same road. I had this issue with my 2019 Renault Megane. To be honest, I'm no car techie, just got a bit of experience under my bonnet. Took my ride to my local workshop and they sorted out the issue by reconfiguring the system, turns out it was some incorrect pairing with the end device causing the commotion. Paid about 45 euro and it was money well spent. What's your car's make and specific model? I reckon I could assist a bit more with that info. Cheers!
