Uneven Ride Height

Hey there! Happy to help follow up on this. Yeah, I got it fixed at the dealer and it cost me 155€ to repair that faulty cable/plug connection. Since they fixed it, my car's been running perfectly no more bouncing or weird suspension behavior. They also sorted out that incorrect door contact signal that was bugging me, which was actually related to the same wiring issue. Honestly, it was worth every penny because the car feels solid now, just like when I first got it. Haven't had a single suspension problem since then, and it's been several months now. The dealership really knew their stuff with these hybrid systems definitely better than my first mechanic's "it's just a sensor" diagnosis! Just make sure you get it checked out soon though you don't want moisture causing more damage to those connection points over time. Let me know how it goes when you get it looked at!
Just wanted to update everyone on what happened. Took your advice and went to the dealership yesterday. You were spot on it was the corroded connection in the air suspension module! The mechanic showed me the damaged wiring, and it looked pretty nasty. Ended up paying about 170€, which wasn't as bad as I feared. They fixed it in about 4 hours, and wow, what a difference! The car's riding smooth as butter now. No more weird bouncing or height issues. Can't believe my previous mechanic missed something this obvious. Really appreciate everyone's help here, especially's detailed explanation. It saved me from going to another regular shop that might've missed the real problem. Guess sometimes you really do need to go straight to the experts who know these hybrid systems inside out. Thanks again, everyone! Case closed on this one!
I had a similar issue with my 2018 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid. First mechanic told me it was a sensor problem too, but when I took it to the dealership, they found that the Cable/plug connection for the air suspension control module was defective. Moisture had gotten in and corroded the connection points. Based on your symptoms, it sounds very familiar especially the excessive bouncing. In my case, it wasn't a quick fix but wasn't super serious either. They had to clean the connection points, replace the damaged wiring harness, and recalibrate the system. Took them about half a day to sort it out. I'd definitely recommend getting a second opinion, preferably at an Infiniti dealership. These suspension control systems are pretty complex in the hybrids, and not all regular shops have the right diagnostic tools for them.
