Just got back from having the window motor replaced and wanted to share my experience. The total bill came to 450 Euro, which included parts, labor and recalibration of the power windows system. Much better than the 900 Euro dealer quote. The repair took about 3 hours, they had to remove the door panel but thankfully the window track was fine and didnt need replacement. They showed me the old motor which had completely seized up. The new one works perfectly now, smooth operation and the anti-pinch feature is functioning as it should. They also did a full check of the other windows while they had the diagnostic equipment connected. Really glad I shopped around instead of going straight to the dealer. The independent shop did great work at half the cost. Should have done this from the start instead of stressing about the dealer prices.
