Thank you for your answer. The exact symptoms are somewhat contradictory. Sometimes the windshield wipers work normally and then again not. While driving, they sometimes stop suddenly or move very slowly. In addition, the warning light keeps coming on. The wiper blades were changed at the last service with 72643 km, but that was not the solution. 155 euros for a repair would still be bearable if it really is just a cable problem. Did you have it done in a specialized Audi workshop or somewhere else?

Yes, exactly. It was exactly the same with my car, the wipers sometimes moved normally and then very slowly again. And yes, that warning light is really annoying, isn't it? I had it done at a normal garage, but one that knows a lot about Audis. So not a specialized Audi workshop. Of course, there may be another problem with your Q7, but in my case it was really just the cables. So, maybe it would be worth a try to have that checked. Hopefully that will help you.

Thank you for your advice, that gives me some direction. I'll discuss this with my garage and tell them about your experience. They might also have a look at the cables. A warning light like that can really drive you crazy! Hopefully it really is just a cable problem. Your story gives me hope that the solution might not be so expensive, which would of course be great. It's nice to be able to rely on the community to solve such problems. Thanks again!

Hi, I have had similar experience with my Audi Q5 (2014 model year) and had the same problem with the windshield wipers. I have a bit of experience with cars, so I first tried it myself, but to no avail. So I took it to the garage. They then discovered that the cable connection was faulty. They then replaced the cables and the problem was solved. It cost about 155 euros. Maybe it's the same with your car. But without more detailed information about your situation, it's difficult to say. Can you describe in more detail what exactly the problem is? Maybe then I can help even more.
