Hi, thanks for the tip! Otherwise there have been no problems with the car, it has always worked reliably. My BMW 7 Series now has almost 149,000 km on the clock and the last inspection was at approx. 140,000 km. Let's see if it really is the plug. Hopefully it won't cost more than yours, 95 euros would still be okay. Thanks again!

Hi, glad I could help! Yes, it's best to check the plug. It was just the problem with my 5, and the symptoms sound similar. Hopefully it's nothing else that will be more expensive to repair. With your mileage and the last inspection, I wouldn't necessarily assume it's a major problem. Just get back to me when you know more and maybe I've been able to help you. Keep your fingers crossed that the repair won't be too expensive!

Cool thing, I'll have a look for the plug tomorrow. If worst comes to worst, I'll just make an appointment with the garage. Your tips were really helpful and I'll definitely get back to you as soon as I know more. I also hope that the repair won't be too expensive. Thanks again for your help!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2013 BMW 5 series. I have a little experience with cars, but I'm not a professional. My problem was also due to the cable connection/plug being faulty, just like yours perhaps. I drove to my local garage and had it repaired there. The repair cost me 95 euros. To help you better, could you provide some more information about your car? Are there any other problems that could be related?
