Hello, thank you for your reply. My Renault Arkana now has 11391 km on the clock and had its last service at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately, I don't have any more information, as the fault came out of nowhere. I suppose it could really be due to the heating wires, as you said. I'll have it checked at my garage. Hopefully it won't be that expensive... Thanks again for the help!

Hey, no problem, I'm happy to help! With the additional info you've given, I would also strongly lean towards it being a problem with the heater wires. In your case with the Renault Arkana, it will probably be the same as it was with my Koleos. The price can of course vary a bit, but if it really is the heating wires, then you will probably have to reckon with costs of around 600 euros. That's always annoying, of course, but hey, at least you'll have warm windows again. Original parts from Renault are unfortunately always a bit more expensive, but at least they last. If you want to be sure, just have them checked at the garage. Maybe it's something smaller and it will be cheaper than you thought. In any case, have a good trip and hopefully the problem will be solved quickly!

Hello, I really appreciate your help. This is good news and bad news at the same time. Good that we could possibly identify the problem, but a pity that it will be so expensive. Well, as you said, the main thing is that the windows are warm again. I'll take your advice and take the car to the garage. I also hope that the problem will be solved quickly. Thanks again for your support. You guys are really great!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Renault Koleos (built in 2018). I'm not a car mechanic but I do have some experience with cars. In my case, the heating wires were defective. My garage told me this after a continuity check. They replaced the wires at my garage and deleted the error message in the system. The whole thing cost me 585 euros. I hope that helps you. Can you perhaps provide more information about your car? That way I could help you more specifically. Have a safe journey!
