Hey, thanks for the answer! My Peugeot has 57333 km on it and the last service was only recently. The transmission control unit could actually be the case for me too. Until now I only knew about the problem with the transmission oil pressure sensor. Now I'm a bit relieved that it's not just my car that has this problem. I'll probably have to try my luck at the garage. A thousand euros sounds a lot, but the main thing is that the car runs smoothly again afterwards. Thanks for the tip!

Hey, no problem, I'm glad I could help you a bit! The transmission control unit on my Peugeot was completely replaced back then, so there was no chance of repair. I'm guessing yours will be similar. Just go to the garage for advice. Of course, a thousand euros is not a lot, but if the car drives properly again afterwards, it's definitely worth the investment. Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well!

Hey, it's really great that you took the time to help me. I'll definitely ask the garage and point out the transmission control unit. You're right, even if it costs a lot of money, it's better to be safe than sorry and get the car back in top condition. Thanks again for your advice and words of encouragement. I'm a bit more confident about the repair now. I'll let you know when I've spoken to the garage. See you then!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2007 Peugeot 207. I'm not a car expert, but I've had a few experiences. On my Peugeot, the transmission control unit was defective and the repair ended up costing around €1000. Of course it was pretty annoying in the first place, but the people at the garage were great and explained everything thoroughly. It would be helpful if you could give me more details about your car, maybe then I could help you better.
