Hey, thanks for your quick reply. My Peugeot Expert has a mileage of 147235 km. I just had the last service. Nothing out of the ordinary was found. I have the feeling that the problem occurs more and more frequently the longer I drive. I hope this helps you a little. Thanks again!

Hi, I guess we have pretty similar experiences. The problem with my Peugeot was actually the transmission control unit. I only noticed it when the shifting problems became more and more frequent. However, my mileage was a bit higher. I didn't have anything conspicuous at my last service either. There could actually be a connection. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, I would recommend that you have it checked at a garage. These things are not to be trifled with. Hope this helps you. Have a safe journey!

Hey thanks, that's really helpful. I think I'll take it to the garage first and see what they say. Better to be safe than stuck on the highway. Thanks again, I really appreciate your help and hopefully I'll have a solution soon. Drive safely!

It sounds like your vehicle might have a problem with the first gear synchronizer. This is a component in the transmission that helps match the speeds of different gears to allow smooth shifting. If it's worn or damaged, it could cause the gear to disengage when you try to accelerate. However, this is just a guess and it's best to have a mechanic inspect your vehicle to accurately diagnose the problem.

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2013 Peugeot Partner, I have to admit I'm not a car expert but I do have some experience in this area. It was confirmed that my transmission control unit was faulty. Had to take it to the garage and pay 1000 euros to get it fixed. Of course, it may be something else with your car; could you perhaps give us a few more details about your vehicle? For example, model, mileage and whether you've had any work done to it recently. I could then try to better compare our two situations and give you some more tips.
