Problems with the electric soft top and warning light in the 2021 Citroen EMehari - experiences and solutions wanted
(Translated from German)
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Citroen EMehari owner is experiencing issues with the electric soft top not opening or closing and a warning light on the speedometer. A potential cause suggested is the sunroof not being set correctly. A similar issue was resolved in another Citroen model through vehicle coding at a garage, which is recommended as a possible solution. The owner plans to visit a workshop for coding, hoping it resolves the problem.

Hello, thanks for the answer. My Citroen EMehari now has 59292 KM on it. I recently had a service, but the warning light is still on and the soft top still won't move. I'll follow your advice and take it to the workshop for coding. It's a shame that this isn't included in the warranty. I hope it works as easily as it did for you.

Sure, no problem, that also sounds like the best procedure. On my C3, coding helped straight away the first time, but I still had to go back for a check-up to be on the safe side. It's always better to be on the safe side, especially when it comes to the soft top. Perhaps more information about the history of the problem could be helpful. Did the soft top suddenly give up the ghost or were there already signs beforehand? And what about the warning light, has it always been on or has it only recently come on? Hopefully the problem will be solved quickly and easily. Fingers crossed!

Hello again and thanks for the tips. The soft top has actually always worked quite well and there were no signs that anything was wrong. It just stopped working like that, quite weird. The warning light suddenly came on after the soft top stopped working. I will definitely go to the garage and try coding, hope that solves the problem. Maybe they forgot something during the last inspection. Annoying, but what the heck. Thanks again for the help, keep your fingers crossed!

Hi. I've had a pretty similar experience with my 2019 Citroen C3. I would describe myself as someone with little experience in cars, but this is how I resolved the issue. I went to my local garage and they performed coding on the vehicle. This worked very well and the problem was solved. It cost me 75 euros. Could you perhaps give me more information about your car? Mileage, history of the problem, etc.? This could help to find a more precise solution.
