Problems with the electric parking brake and the Carly app

I have a 2022 BMW 3 with 39,000 km and am experiencing problems with the electric parking brake. In addition, I notice that the Carly app does not offer service mode for the EPB (Electronic Parking Brake). This seems like a basic maintenance item, especially to be able to professionally replace the rear brake pads by releasing the electric parking brake adjustment. Does anyone have experience with this limitation of the Carly app or know why this function is not available?
