Brake light not working

Hey, thanks for your reply and the tip. Yes, all the other lights are working perfectly, it's just the brake lights that are giving me a headache. As far as I remember, it's never happened before. Regarding my car, it has 64596 km on it, the last service was also done recently. I'm now really considering whether I should have the footwell module checked. Hopefully the repair won't be too expensive.

Hey, no problem. From what you've said, it definitely sounds like your brake lights could have a similar problem to mine back then. With the mileage and age of your car, a faulty footwell module is definitely a possibility. But don't worry, it's annoying but it's a fairly common problem and most garages should be able to fix it without any problems. I would suggest you get it checked at the garage in any case. Hopefully it's nothing more serious and the repair costs stay within reason. Good luck, man!

Thank you! Your words have given me some comfort. So I will follow your advice and take my car to the garage and have the footwell module checked. Even though it's a bit annoying, it's good to know that it's a common problem and that it can be solved. Thanks again for your help! See you then!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2007 Ford Fusion. I'm not a professional, but have a bit of experience with cars. It turned out that the footwell module was defective. Had to have it repaired at a garage and it cost me 475 euros. To help you better, could you please give me more details about your vehicle? Are all the other lights working properly? Has it happened before?
