Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2014 VW Golf. I don't claim to be a great car expert, but I do have some experience with cars. At my garage they found that the battery contacts in the siren were faulty. It cost me 235 euros to fix the problem. My Polo has now done 213500 km and it's been a while since the last service. I tend to check it myself before I go to the garage. After all, 235 euros is quite a lot.
