Problems with the air conditioning and heating in the Peugeot Expert Diesel 2016: troubleshooting and solutions

Insufficient Cooling/Heating

|

Air conditioning blows warm air

Hey guys, I have a question for you. In my Peugeot Expert Diesel (built in 2016), the air conditioning system only blows warm air and the cooling/heating is generally not as it should be. I suspect that the air quality sensor is sending a faulty signal. Have any of you ever had a problem like this and how did you get it fixed in the workshop? What experiences have you had? Any help is welcome!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my Peugeot Partner Diesel (built in 2014). I don't have much experience with cars, but it sounds like the problem could really be coming from the sensor. On my car, the wire/cable from the sensor was faulty. The mechanic at my garage fixed it for me and it cost me about 95 euros. To be able to help you more precisely, it would be good to know whether your Expert is displaying any error codes or whether you have noticed any other symptoms. For example, what about the temperature display? Are there any irregularities? I would appreciate more information.

Hello, thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, no specific error code is displayed for me, and as far as I can tell, there are no other noticeable symptoms. The temperature display is behaving normally. The only strange thing I've noticed is that the air conditioning has actually always worked relatively well. I last had my Expert serviced at 65851 KM. But maybe the problem only occurred recently... I probably won't be able to avoid having it checked at the garage. I just hope it won't be too expensive...

Hello again, so from my side I can say that I also had this problem with my Peugeot Expert Diesel from 2016. However, I have discovered that it may not just be the sensor that is sending a faulty signal. It could also be due to a fault in the air conditioning compressor or a leak in the system. The fan control or the coolant receiver could also be faulty. If you go to your garage, I would ask them to check this out. In my case, it was actually a defective air conditioning compressor and a center receiver that had to be replaced. It cost me a fair bit of money (just under 300 euros), but since then the air conditioning has been running like a charm again. So it's best to deal with it quickly before it causes more expensive damage. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's a less expensive fault in your case! Greetings

Hello again and thank you for your help and the numerous tips! These are definitely good tips that I will take into consideration. I also sincerely hope that it's a "cheaper" fault with my Expert. I'll make an appointment at the garage soon and see what they say. If there's anything new, I'll let you know. Thanks again and see you then!
