Problems with the air conditioning and fan in the Skoda Fabia Diesel 2019 - looking for solutions and experiences

Hi guys! I have a strange problem with my Skoda Fabia Diesel, year 2019. The air conditioning doesn't work properly, it doesn't cool/heat enough, and the fan doesn't run as it should either. I think it could be due to a fault in the air conditioning system. Have any of you had similar experiences and can give me some troubleshooting tips? How did you solve this at the garage? Please share your experiences! Thanks in advance!

Hey, I had a pretty similar problem with my 2017 Škoda Rapid, air conditioning was also acting up. With intermediate knowledge of cars, I took it to my nearest garage for this. The mechanic found that the line was defective. The repair cost me about 95 euros, which I thought was fair. It could be that this is also the problem with your Škoda Fabia. But without more detailed information about your car, I can't help you any further. Could you perhaps share more details about your car? What model variant do you have and what type of air conditioning system is installed? I hope I've been able to help you a little. Good luck!

Thanks for the quick reply and the tip. My Fabia is the Ambition version and has manual air conditioning. Had the last service at around 37590 km and no particular incidents were reported at that time. Perhaps the air conditioning pipe is actually faulty. I'll take your advice and have it checked at the garage. The 95 euros sounds really fair. Thanks again!

No problem, always happy to help! Yes, that sounds like a good idea to take your Fabia to the garage. It might even be the exact same problem I had with my Rapid. If it is, then don't let yourself be ripped off, the repair really shouldn't cost any more. And even if it's something else, it's always good to check your car, especially if you notice anything unusual. But don't wait too long, otherwise you run the risk of the problem getting bigger and causing more damage. Let us know what they say at the garage - I hope the problem is solved quickly! Good luck!

Thanks for all the tips and support! You're right, I'll follow your advice and not wait too long before I go to the workshop. I don't want the problem to get worse. As soon as I know more, I'll let you know. Hopefully it's just the air conditioning pipe and not something bigger! Thanks again and have a good weekend!
