Hey guys, I have a question about my Peugeot 2008 Diesel, built in 2019. Somehow the car is going crazy at the moment, all sorts of strange symptoms that I'm not familiar with. The car blows black smoke out of the exhaust when accelerating, the check engine light comes on, the engine just stalls and the cold start takes longer. The engine performance is inconsistent, it consumes more diesel than usual and sometimes it won't start at all. I have a suspicion that the cold start injector could be a problem, but maybe you have other ideas. Have any of you had similar experiences and can perhaps tell me how your garage solved the problem? Would like to understand how I can narrow it down better. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi mate, sounds like you have a similar problem to what I had with my 2017 Peugeot 208 diesel. The symptoms were very similar and it turned out the engine control unit was faulty. My car knowledge is on a low experience level. I took my car to my garage and they identified the faulty part and replaced it. It cost me 1000 euros to fix the problem. Could you give me a few more details about your car? Mileage, exact model name, etc.? Maybe then I can help you more precisely.
