Hello, thank you for your answer! My Opel Corsa now has 81322 km on it and has been serviced regularly. The engine feels weak and the car won't start at all. I have read out the fault memory, but unfortunately that didn't help either. However, all other systems work perfectly. Do you have any other tips as to what the problem could be?

Hey, no problem! In your case, there could be several reasons, especially with older cars like your Corsa. It could be a problem with the fuel system, the ignition or even a mechanical problem. For example, a defective fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter could be causing your problem. If it's an ignition problem, defective spark plugs could be the culprit. And in the case of mechanical problems, a defective engine could be the problem. If you can't inspect the car yourself, it might be best to take it to a trusted garage. They can usually diagnose and repair the problem better. Another thing I can recommend is to have a look at the fuel filter and spark plugs. Hope that helps!

Many thanks for the detailed reply and the tips! I'll have a look at the fuel filter and the spark plugs and pay a visit to the garage if necessary. Your experience was really helpful! I'll let you know as soon as I know more. Thanks again!

Opel Insignia, 2.0cdti 125KW engine B20DTH Euro 6 with AdBlue. Error P244a. Measures taken so far: DPFinsg. changed 5 times (always the same error), differential pressure sensor changed, lambda sensor changed (then for approx. 4 weeks Ruh, regeneration all went well, yesterday the same error came back. Another idea is that the exhaust gas temperature sensors were damaged during the first attempt to rectify the error, a chemical cleaning of the DOF was carried out, but did not give an electrical error.

It sounds like you've already taken several steps to address the P244A error. Since the issue persists, I recommend checking the exhaust gas temperature sensors as they can affect DPF regeneration if faulty. Ensure they are functioning correctly and providing accurate readings. If the problem continues, it might be worth inspecting the wiring and connections related to these sensors for any damage or corrosion. Let me know how it goes or if you have further questions!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2012 Opel Astra Diesel, I would say I have medium experience when it comes to cars. Also had an engine warning light and loss of power. After a visit to my garage, it was determined that the fault was "consequential fault from other fault memory entries". In my case, however, I didn't have to pay anything for it. Do you have more precise information about your vehicle and the fault? Perhaps I can then help you more precisely.
