Problems with navigation and audio system in Peugeot 3008 Diesel built in 2023: Experiences and solutions wanted

Audio system is not working

Navigationssystem is not working

Hey guys, I have a strange problem with my Peugeot 3008 Diesel, year of manufacture 2023. The sat nav and the audio system are acting up. I suspect it could be a signal error with the audio system. Have any of you ever had similar problems and can perhaps give me a few tips? How did you get this solved in the workshop and what were your experiences? Thanks in advance!

Hey, had the same problem with my 2021 Peugeot 5008 diesel, pretty similar to yours. Not a car professional but would describe it as "some experience" with cars. Got it fixed at the garage, had to fork out 155 euros for the job. Apparently my cable connection was faulty. Have you checked the connectors under the dashboard, near the radio? Just go to your local garage and tell them about it, they'll be able to fix it. I might be able to help you more if you give me a few details about your car. What extras do you have in it?

Hey, thanks for your feedback! Mine now has 96369 kilometers on it and was recently serviced. I was really hoping that I could avoid this problem. Well, I guess I rejoiced too soon. I have a standard model without many extras, so no fancy stuff or anything. I haven't checked the plug yet, but now that you mention it, it might be worth a look. I think I'll drop by the garage and talk to the guys. I'm really curious as to what it could be and whether it's a known problem. Maybe other people from the community can say something about it. Thanks again!

Moin Moin, ah, no problem, I'm happy to help where I can! With your mileage and year of manufacture, you shouldn't really have any major problems. But as you say, something can always happen. The audio and navigation system failure in my Peugeot was also an isolated incident and the guys and gals at the workshop actually managed to fix it without any complications. The plug connection is always a good first check. Check that everything is properly seated and that the cables don't look worn or damaged. Also check the main electrical system, as this could also be the problem. My garage said at the time that this can sometimes happen, but it has nothing to do with the mileage. It could also be a software problem. I've read that updates can sometimes cause problems. It's best to have it checked by the experts. They'll also tell you how much it would cost. But don't worry, it'll be fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and keep us up to date!

Hey, thanks for the tip! The cables actually look pretty good and the plug is tight. I'll take it to the garage tomorrow and have it checked. I'm also curious if it's a software problem because I recently did an update. But somehow I haven't noticed any problems after the update. I'm just praying that the repair won't be too expensive. I will definitely keep you posted and may come back to you when I have more information. Thanks again!
