Hey, thanks for the quick reply! So, the radio is the standard RNS 510, I had the latest service at 189750 km and never had a problem with it so far. Hope your advice helps and it's just the antenna. Is there anything else I should check?

Hello again, I'm happy to help! I'm pretty familiar with RNS 510, had the same in my Passat. Checking the aerial would be my first piece of advice, as that was the problem for me. But if that doesn't help, it could also be the radio module. Perhaps it is defective or has a loose contact. It also wouldn't hurt to check the fuses - maybe one has simply blown. If you get stuck, don't hesitate to go to the workshop. They do charge, but they usually know what to do. Hope this helps you. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips! I really appreciate your help. I will follow your advice and check the antenna, radio module and fuses. If I still can't solve the problem, I will definitely go to the garage. Thanks again for your time and advice. I'll let you know if I have any news. See you then!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2005 VW Passat petrol engine. I'm not an expert, but have a bit of experience with cars. I actually had a faulty aerial and kept losing signal on the radio. I went to my regular garage and they fixed it within a day. It cost me 255 euros, but since then everything has been working perfectly again. Which radio/navi combination do you have? Maybe I can help you when I have more information.
