Hi, thanks for the advice. My AMG already has 1823 kilometers behind it and the last service was recently. I hope it's nothing too serious and I really want to avoid spending that much, but I'll take your suggestions into consideration. Cheers!

Hey, based on the number of kilometers your AMG GT has done, some parts might be outdated. I took a closer look at this case in relation to the suspicion that the fault in the tank ventilation system or the DMTL valve could be the cause. In my case it was indeed the DMTL valve, which in turn led to the mass air flow sensor becoming dirty. The lack of power and the jerking could therefore be traced back to this. I had to pay a little less than 500 euros at my garage. I was really relieved that it wasn't the engine control unit. So my advice would be to get the DMTL valve and mass air flow sensor checked first, that might be a cheaper solution. I hope this helps you!

Hi, thanks for your detailed explanation. It's really helpful! I will take your advice and have the DMTL valve and mass air flow sensor checked at the garage. Hopefully the cost won't be so high then. Thanks again and have a nice day!

Hi, had a similar problem with my Mercedes AMG GT (built in 2014). I have average experience with cars, but I'm not a professional. In my workshop, the engine control unit was replaced for 1000 euros because it was defective (but this only happens in very rare cases). Could you give me more details about your vehicle? Maybe then I can help you even more.
