Hey, thanks for the info! Well, my little Audi now has an impressive 224543 kilometers on the clock. And at the last inspection, which was not too long ago, no undervoltage was detected. As far as I know, the voltage regulator is also in order. The battery could be an issue though, I haven't replaced it for a while. I'll have it checked. Thanks again for the tip!

Hey, no problem, always happy to help! It's great that the little Audi has already done so many kilometers. I've heard the same thing about mine - these cars are simply robust. Sometimes you just don't think about the battery. I think it was only after four years or so that mine finally broke down. There's not too much you can do about it except check it regularly and then replace it when it's time. Once the new one is in, I would definitely have the error code read out again. That way you can be sure that it was just the battery and nothing more serious. Keep us up to date and good luck!

Hey, really, you're a great help! I'll definitely have the battery checked and replace it if necessary. Reading out the error code is a good idea - I hadn't thought about that. I'll let you know as soon as I know more and hope that it was just the battery. Thanks for taking the time to help me. See you then!

Hello NoahAy, having the battery checked is the first and most important step - then read out the error codes and it would also be good to have the quiescent current (i.e. the current that flows when the car is locked and the control units are shut down) measured - preferably in a workshop or by a known electrician or mechanic. Please let us know if there is any news about your problem...

Hi Viper, how do I take a quiescent current measurement? Is there anything I need to be aware of? I once read that you can do this with any multimeter. I look forward to your answer.

Why does it say control module incorrectly coded on my Vw polo
Hello Rakesh, Have you done a diagnostic scan? Can you please provide us with more information about the error you have encountered. Best regards, CarlyAdminNik

Hello,
How do I get rid of error B200500
This error code typically indicates a problem with the powertrain control module. The first step is to try clearing the code with a diagnostic scanner. If the code returns, it may be necessary to have a professional mechanic inspect your vehicle. They may need to replace the powertrain control module or repair any wiring issues. Please keep us updated on your progress and let us know if you have any further questions.
Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2001 Audi A3 Diesel, pretty much at the beginning of my car hobby career, so I would class myself as someone with little experience. Basically it was a mess and in my case it was also the low voltage in the vehicle during the coding process. At the garage, they sorted me out in no time at all and then sorted everything out for me. They were kind enough to only charge me 240 euros in total. Have you checked the voltage regulator or the battery? Maybe you can give me a little more information about the exact condition of the car - then I might be able to help a little more specifically.
